We are pleased to announce that Dave Loosmore will be joining the TTW team from the 1st July 2019 as our National Safeguarding Officer.
Dave lives in Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire and has a keen sporting interest having played both football and cricket in local leagues. Dave has a range of experience in cricket being a qualified Umpire, level 2 coach and a tutor and assessor for the sport. As the Chairman of Haverfordwest Cricket Club, and previous Chair of Pembroke County Cricket Club, Dave has a sound background in grassroots sport.
Dave’s experience of welfare in sport started in 2004 with his role as the Welfare Officer for Haverfordwest Cricket Club and then
Pembroke County Cricket Club, overseeing the 26 Clubs. He is Tutor for the Safeguarding and Protecting Children and Time to Listen courses, delivering these courses throughout Wales for the England and Wales Cricket Board, Sport Wales, Football Association of Wales and the Welsh Sports Association.
More recently, Dave became Deputy Welfare Officer for Cricket Wales, working closely with their Director of Safeguarding and he is looking forward to bringing his skills and experience to Table Tennis Wales.
